The proprietor, Mr D. K. Burman is a former director for Uttar Pradesh State Tourism. He and his wife were warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful, informative, and as generous a pair of hosts as one could ever hope to have. Their accommodation was wonderfully comfortable, and their meals were delicious. They gave sage advice regarding how best to prioritize our tour of Agra and the Taj Mahal, and they helped with arranging drivers both within Agra and to the airport in Delhi. We cannot recommend Bansi highly enough! Our one single regret is that before we left we did not take a picture of Mr & Mrs Burman to remind us of our wonderful stay. Thank you so much for such warm memories!

A typical Indian home and a family environment. Location is central and close to the Taj but not too close hence avoiding the busy streets, found in a quite residential street. Hosts are so welcoming and friendly, they make you feel at home. Homemade Breakfast was the best we have had, super tasty. we arrived very early morning and he welcomed us to his home nonetheless offering us tea and coffee. A truly welcoming Indian family, no doubt 10 on 10!

In one sentence, this hotel is the best home-stay experience ever I had in my life. The best thing about Bansi is the atmosphere of hospitality and humanistic warmth in the place. I felt like in my big family home or like visiting a friend. Mr. Burman, the owner of the place, is a very kind man. He lives in a room in the ground floor and is always available for help. Having a small conversation with him around the breakfast table or during the tea time is one my best moments in India. The workers in the place are very kind and helping also. The place is very clean. The room is broad. The standards of the place is very high like a five-stars hotel. Bansi Home Stay provides the best quality for money I ever have. Every time I visit Agra, I will go to Bansi Home Stay directly.

We received a very warm welcome from Burman and the Bansi Home Stay staff. They made us feel like at home, and introduced us to delicious Indian breakfast cuisine (special mention to the spicy potatoes). The en-suite we stayed in was very spacious and spotless clean. It was the perfect place to rest after long days spent exploring Agra!
